These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website at https://learn.designingaround.com and all associated services, courses, content, and features (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Services.
Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, enrolling in a course, or otherwise using the Services, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 13, you may not use the Services. Parents or guardians of users aged 13–17 are responsible for supervising their use and agreeing to these Terms on their behalf.
Account Registration and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@learn.designingaround.com of any unauthorized access or breach. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these Terms or engaging in fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, videos, text, graphics, logos, software, and other content provided through the Services are the exclusive property of Designing Around or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any content without prior written permission.
Subscription and Payments
Certain Services may require payment. All fees are stated in USD and are non-refundable except as required by law or as explicitly outlined in our Refund Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the billing period. You may manage or cancel your subscription via your account settings.
User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any illegal, harmful, or abusive purpose;
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code;
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation;
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services;
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services without express written consent.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Designing Around and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Services, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities. Your sole and exclusive remedy for dissatisfaction with the Services is to stop using them.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California. You consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to These Terms

Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on the website. Continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
